The Band
The Smell Of Dust is composed by Sue-Elie Andrade-Dé at the guitar and sampler, Samuel Bueno (Emicida) at the bass and Bruno Marques (Simoninha, Mariana Aydar) at the drums. The trio met each other at the beginning of 2017 and started performing together the soundtrack of The Smell Of Dust bringing organic power and authentic presence to the show.
The Curator
Graduated in Fine Arts from University Paris 1 – Sorbonne [Fr], Sue- Elie Andrade-Dé has a Master degree in Photography from ENSP Arles [Fr]. She has curated 3 photo exhibitions [WIP during the Rencontres Internationales de la Photographie in Arles, Undentities at Basis venue in Amsterdam & #kindofblue at Gris Escritório de Arte in São Paulo]. her work was shown in collective exhibitions 18 times in 6 different countries [Germany, Brazil, France, Netherlands, Austria & Portugal]. personal exhibitions happened only twice in her life [ France & Portugal]. she has won a single award so far [Mission Jeunes Artistes] & has participated in 16 publications, one artist residency, one masterclass [Reflexions Masterclass] & one group of research about Photography [Decrescimento]. for some reason she came to Brazil in 2013 and founded the independent publishing label #iamnotfrench. in 2014 she created and curated the audiovisual performance The Smell of Dust [projection of photographs with live music]. in 2014 she co-founded the virtual library Noiz é Book with her friend and colleague Julia Milward. In 2016, she starts producing her own soundtracks and began a new career as a cultural producer. In 2017 she founded Purple Produções in order to produce, promote and bring management support to independent artists based in São Paulo.

The composers
THE SMELL OF DUST III
Graduated in audiovisual and classical piano from the Conservatory Souza Lima, Filipe Consolini is a musician and music producer. With his seal Mono.Tune Records he curates, produces and releases bands from the new music scene, he acts as well as a producer of soundtracks and sound design for advertising and cinema.
He launched in 2013 his debut work “Silence EP” as an authorial musician.
He performed it in many festivals and concert halls all over Brazil and the work was indicated by several vehicles as “featured” that year. The track “Crack of Love” figured among the lists of “best national music” of the year. The EP was also nominated for “Best Album” award at Dynamite.
In 2014, he founded the label / producer Mono.Tune Records, specialized in launching artists and emerging bands. The seal takes care of press relations, organization and production of shows, promotions, launches and distribution.
Filipe signs the musical production of most albums released by Mono.Tune that has already accumulated in two years of existence a catalog of no less than 15 bands from different states of Brazil.
For THE SMELL OF DUST III he signs the production of the powerfull EP “GHOST NOTE” launched in Low-fi Vinil and K7 (De Lírio Records).
THE SMELLOF DUST I & II
Bass n’ insane, is a project idealized by João Gonçalves, bassist, musical director and producer, who represents the new crop of Brazilian music producers. With partnerships that include Projota, ONZE20, Racionais MCs, Seu Jorge, R.Z.O. and many other artists, João stands out by very simple bass arrangements however, melodic and striking.
Currently João Gonçalves produces and directs artistically emerging MC’s from São Paulo.
